Presentation
Vinema Multióleos Vegetais Industry and Trade Import and Export. Ltda, with the trade name VINEMA Biorefinarias do Sul, was created in 2001 with the main focus on research, development and innovation in processes and products related to renewable energy sources and agribusiness.
VINEMA is currently the first Brazilian company with a proposal to produce bioenergy (on a large scale) from multiple starch sources. The project is about the construction of a biorefinery plant, which will be strategically located in the southern half of Rio Grande do Sul, close to Porto Alegre.
Aiming to make the most of the production process, in addition to the main product ethanol, other co-products will be generated with direct applications in several other industrial segments, such as human and animal food protein, with high added protein value, vegetable oil, carbon dioxide carbon (CO2), electricity and green hydrogen (H²) fuel and other purposes.
The production of ethanol, both represents a source of clean energy and enables economic, social and environmental strengthening for Rio Grande do Sul and Brazil as a whole.
